Service Description

This face to face course from Adiuvo Engineering is aimed at teaching new graduates and junior engineers looking to get into FPGA development, teaching them the basic skill set needed to become effective FPGA designers. The course will run over 5 consecutive days – starting on October 9th 2023 and will be held at Rolls Royce Controls, 5000 Solihull Parkway, Birmingham B37 7YH.   Each course is a mixture of theory and hands on training with FPGA reference boards and is led by an instructor with many years of FPGA and Embedded Systems engineering design knowledge. A Xilinx ZU Board 1CG is required for hands on practice. One will be provided if needed.   The first section of the course includes discussions around system design and the use of FPGAs within the system ecosystem. There is also a lot of reference to IP and IP integration.   Primarily based around AMD ( Xilinx ) but other technologies and techniques will be discussed. Topics will include : FPGA Requirements and processes flow Systems Engineering Architecting the FPGA how to approach the architecture of the device Key elements of FPGA Architecture Architectures and considerations Documentation for modules required to be developed Verification strategies Constraints FPGA initial design skills FPGA advanced skills IP Usage Softcore processors System on Chip Design Timing Analysis Debugging on Hardware
